The LOES Music class will be a wonderful opportunity for LOES students to be introduced to music. Music from different cultures, instruments, the elements of music, and of course singing and playing will be utilized in the classroom to enhance the students learning.
Each child learns in a different way: Auditory, Visual, and Kinesthetic. Auditory learners use hearing as their mode of learning. We will be listening to many different types of music and discuss the different elements of music as we learn. Visual learners see the music and learn as they see. Using different types of music, writing projects, and videos the visual learner will have opportunities to see the music performed professionally. Kinesthetic learners learn by doing. The music room will be filled with opportunities to play instruments, sing songs, and perform in front of their classmates.
Music is truly the Universal Language and I look forward to facilitating learning with the students of LOES!!
